Who we are
AAFx2 Productions is the creative vision of Dr. Adan A. Fuentes and Adan A. Fuentes III—a dynamic father-and-son duo dedicated to crafting high-quality film projects that inspire, captivate, and resonate.
Dr. Adan A. Fuentes, a trained actor and director turned surgeon, returned to his creative roots in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. He brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of storytelling to the team.
Adan A. Fuentes III, a gifted filmmaker, enhances this partnership with his technical expertise, creative vision, and unwavering commitment to crafting compelling stories.
Together, they form a team that blends creativity, experience, and a shared love for film.
Their debut project, "Drowning Above Water," marks the beginning of an exciting journey in filmmaking. This project originated from a friendship between co-writer Phil Holt and Dr. Fuentes that began in 1990. It has been submitted to prestigious film festivals, and they are eagerly awaiting the results.
Maury, a dark comedy feature screenplay, marks its second venture into the film festival circuit. We have more projects in development and will share updates as they approach completion.

Brief Synopsis
Maury Reynolds has seen it all—and lost it all. A sharp-tongued 97-year-old curmudgeon, he spends his days dodging HOA complaints and pushing away anyone who gets too close. Enter Jake, a quick-witted kid with a lawnmower.
What begins as a job to tame Maury's yard becomes an unlikely friendship, forcing Maury to confront his regrets, grief, and the life he’s been avoiding. With biting humor and heartfelt moments, Maury is a story of connection, redemption, and the hope that it’s never too late to change.
